Not the Moon

Rather, a fabulously refreshing day in the garden, especially after planting some of the below plants the day before into our work in progress – a garden, with a path that winds through, complete with cubby house, teepee which is soon to be shelter to a sandpit, an old swing and a couple of raised beds exclusively for the kids to plant in… so far.
Succulent (yellow flowers pictured in this gallery are from this plant.
Don’t know what this is called, only that it grows only to maybe half a metre, and that it is very pretty.
Blood orange tree in the making.
This is in the previously planted garden, replacing one of the plants that didn’t make it.
Succulent given to me by my Dad.
Found in a garden I planted over a year ago with mostly natives, under the palm trees.
Eastern Rosellas also having a shower.
In bloom. Yellow mound of flowers on a tall lanky succulent we’ve had in a pot for a very long time.
Same succulent.
One of the children’s gardens, planted with pansies, spring onions, a blueberry bush, strawberries, a basil struggling to hang on til warmer weather (formerly protected by many weeds), the odd pea shoot from the mulch (one of said weeds), as well as a couple of succulents.
One of the two Jasmine plants, one is planted at the front fence beside the cubby. I can’t wait to see how that grows.
Jewels twinkling on the bare moptops (overdue for that hard trim).
Magpie in the rain
